Spring Cleaning Your Personal Life

It’s that time of year again.  Flowers are blooming, birds are singing and the weather is warming up.  We are feeling active, it’s time to get up and get busy.  Spring brings a new energy to most of us, calling us to play.  It’s the perfect time of year for some spring cleaning.

Going through closets, boxes, garages, we find loads of stuff we no longer need and that doesn’t serve us.  FreeCycle is a great way to find a new home for things that are still good as is donating them to thrift stores in your community.  You will enjoy the extra space and open feeling of your home after cleaning out things stacked up over the long winter. 

Try shifting the furniture around for a fresh and open feeling as well.  You’ll know when it’s right by the way it feels to you and your family.  Allow for space between things so that the energy can flow freely.

Next get that flower bed cleaned out, plant something new and awe inspiring this year.  Hang a few bird feeders in the yard and enjoy sitting and watching the lovely birds as they eat and sing songs of celebration.  Keep your camera handy, you’ll enjoy the pictures you snap.  Hey, use them on your blog like I do.

Now for the really fun stuff.  Do some spring cleaning on yourself.  Got any fear hanging around that just isn’t serving you?  It’s time to let it go.  The same holds true for beliefs that just aren’t getting you where you want to go.  Ask yourself this question, “Are these beliefs helping me to create what I really want to experience”?  If the answer is no, then it’s time to clean them out.  A powerful way to clear away outdated beliefs is with I Am declarations that are in line with what you really want to experience.
