Bush: I Will Take My Ball And Go Home

Of course, the news today that the house passed the spending bill, laced with a withdrawal timetable attached, well, it didn't exactly sit well with our bucolic dictator....

The whole thing gives me and others, well, a little hope: The Exxon war is going to end, whether King George likes it or not.
"The American people have lost faith in the president's conduct of this war," said House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif. "The American people see the reality of the war, the president does not."

Nancy, hon, that goof wouldn't know reality if it showed up naked and with an AK-47 under its arm, thank you.

And, as one might figure:......

Just over an hour following the vote, Bush angrily accused Democrats of playing politics and renewed his promise to veto the spending legislation if it included their withdrawal timetable, despite administration claims that the money is needed next month by troops.

"These Democrats believe that the longer they can delay funding for our troops, the more likely they are to force me to accept restrictions on our commanders, an artificial timetable for withdrawal and their pet spending projects. This is not going to happen," he said.

Uh-huh. Which probably means he and KKKarl will draft another of those "signing statements" so he can take the money and run, and screw what congress wants, right?

I doubt he'll veto, think of it, that's the very ammo the Dems need for 2008: "Well, dammit, we tried, that little shit vetoed everything we did, don't blame us!"

And so far, we are now seeing the REAL Bush, who acts exactly like the spoiled mama's boy we always knew he was, and his pretensive role as our dictator, well, that's not looking that good anymore.

Now, if we can just get this Attorneygate thing rolling.......!!
