Abducted Iraqi Blogger

I recently blogged here and at The Liberal Avenger on the abduction/arrest of Iraqi blogger Khalid Jarrar. His brother Raed of the blog Raed in the Middle, has no new information to relate on his blog.

All we know at this point is that Khalid is being held by the Iraqi mukhabarat. Here is a roundup of what has been written on the topic.

• Give Us Our Khalid Back. This blog has been setup to provide information to those watching the situation.
• Iraqi in America. Fayrouz explains a few of the circumstances leading up to Khalid's arrest. His hard drive had been stolen in a robbery, and has told his family that the charges against him are somehow related to his writings.
• Olive Branch of Optimism. Some good blogging done to gain media attention for this story.
