Minimum wage proposals win bigger than Dems

While the Democrats had a good night, ballot propositions to raise state minimum wages had a better one: 6 for 6 approved by the voters.

The proposals were approved in Arizona, Colorado, Missouri, Montana, Nevada, and Ohio.

Proposals to limit the government's right to seize private property to use for private development (responding to the SCOTUS Kehoe decision) also had a pretty good night, getting approved in 9 of 11 states.  Only California and Idaho rejected the limit on the government's powers, while Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Michigan, North Dakota, New Hampshire, Nevada, Oregon, and South Carolina approved it.

What does that tell me?  People are returning to the old Democratic ideal of the Government serving as the buffer that prevents the haves from wreaking havoc on the have nots.
