Mr. Bush, Hypochristian

[editor's note, by ~A!]I borrowed the word "hypochristian" from my good friend Eric Schwartz, the best folk revolutionary of our time. Go buy a CD.

This is so absurd I figured y'all would get a kick out of it. Just came down from the AP, Bush warns of more sacrifice in Iraq

I mean, really.

Here's what the monkey said:
Our efforts in Iraq and the broader Middle East will require more time, more sacrifice and continued resolve.

Pardon the living shit out of me, but did the guy on vacation just tell people to sacrifice more? Did the guy who had the most expensive inauguration bash in history just tell the American public to expect to have to give even MORE?

What the fuck? When is the sacrifice going to get real? I know, I know, Bush doesn't want to (snicker) hurt his approval (tee hee) rating, but he's gonna have to do something about that financial mess sooner or later, right?

Oh, now worries, folks. He doesn't want you to sacrifice your money, just your kids. Feed them into the shredder that is Iraq, and you'd best keep having them, because we're not going anywhere for a while, and we need more fodder for the cannons.

Get to sacrificin', you lazy, greedy bastards! You wanna live forever? Past 20? Selfish!
