Hey, Missorans! Ready to change your state motto on your license plates?....

Oh, yes, it was a matter of time on this: Seems a bill is pending in the Missouri legislature to make Christianity Missouri's "official religion". Story here.

I love it. I fool you not:

"The resolution would recognize "a Christian god," and it would not protect minority religions, but "protect the majority's right to express their religious beliefs."

Soooooooooo, and suppose, say 1,000,000 Muslims move to Missouri, pray tell? What then, kids?

"The resolution also recognizes that, 'a greater power exists,' and only Christianity receives what the resolution calls, 'justified recognition.'"

Uh-huh. Well, how about them apples, eh?

"State representative David Sater of Cassville in southwestern Missouri, sponsored the resolution, but he has refused to talk about it on camera or over the phone."

What? Why the heck not? Ain't they the SHOW ME state?

One then wonders, if such a cockamamie bill is written into law, what then? Oh, I can smell the chum in the H2O already, kids. Duh-huh, a nice widdle trip to the US Surreal Court, natch, and with it now loaded up with other wingnuts, well, anyone want to take a bet on Christianity becoming the whole US "sanctioned" religion, too?

Gee, and we don't need Constantine this time, either.
