Direct and indirect claims of treason issue forth from Bush, Cheney, both Snows (Tony & Jack), and frothing heads on too many radio and television shows to count.

One result of the Iraq invasion has been to enable the Iraqis to move closer to Iran. With Shiites now the majority political force, and so much of Iraq's resources unusable or undeliverable due to the war, insurgency, counterinsurgency, etc., Iran may become a natural partner for Iraq.
