Had a big day of blogging today. Came across a story of child sex abuse at Abu Ghraib that made me physically ill, did some research, and it got picked up by Raw Story news, which elevated our hit counts quite a bit. That's always nice.
Then, it was on to the satire.
What do all these people have in common: a man fired by Bush Senior for leaking to Bob Novak; a man devoted to the abolition of taxes and federal government; a man devoted to extreme Christian morality and control of elected officials; three men heavily implicated in the Iran Contra scandal from the Days of Reagan/Bush I? They're all in, or influential with, the Bush II administration.
George W Bush has many friends. George W. Bush does not like any of George W. Bush's friends. George W. Bush thinks cocaine should be legal, but pot is the anti-George W. Bush.
George W. Bush has two daughters. George W. Bush likes the blonde one better, but will never tell that to George W. Bush's wife or George W. Bush's other daughter, George W. Bush.
Data is emerging, no matter how the administration attempts to hide it, that the new photos and video of abuse at Abu Ghraib prison include the torture of children.
Norway's Prime Minister's office says it plans to address the situation with the U.S. "in a very severe and direct way."
What group of people was referred to as "the crazies" within the Bush Senior administration?

"What were you thinking of?", asked the judge at the sentencing phase of a trial that just landed two former airline pilots into the pokey.
When their tactic of trying to delay in order to redact the faces of the tortured ran out, the Bush administration filed a new motion to oppose the release of the photos based on an entirely new argument.
Yet another example of our commander-and-thief taking up the mantle for people like Pol-Pot and the now-deposed Saddam Hussein.
Ok, so I got an article in my inbox about fifteen seconds ago, and it was from one of my uber-con friends (yes, I am not too 'elite' to hang about with these misguided souls... at least not yet).
It was by the Great Retard of Dubious Parentage Himself, David Limbaugh. He doesn't want to let the Rove story go just yet.
Good thing, too. Because it's not over.
More after the jump.
President Bush will veto the new defense spending budget if it includes provisions against torture.
According to the AP, the White House threatened to veto the $442 Billion defense spending bill if it means they can't torture people any more. More after the jump.
